Code of Conduct
I agree to comply with the rules and regulations of USA Swimming. I agree to respect all swimmers, coaches, volunteers, and officials at all northland swim events. Any dispute or rule questions will be discussed with the club coach who shall determine the appropriate action. I agree to provide fair opportunities for all swimmers and/or spectators to view the event. I agree not to compromise my eligibility with foul or abusive language or inappropriate actions. I will be responsible for being on-time for my events. All coaches shall represent their clubs in a professional and appropriate manner.
The code of conduct should be signed by all athletes or their parents at registration. The teams have provided a similar warrantee to the Northland Conference. During a swim meet if you believe that there is an issue or problem that needs to be addressed, speak directly with the head coach. The coach will either resolve the issue or refer it to the meet referee who has ultimate authority at the meet. If there are issues or problems at practices, again refer them to the head coach and also make the VP Swim Operations aware of any problems. If a board action is required the VP Swim Operations can refer it to the board.
